How to take Voltaren Ocagel 12 Hourly:1. Rub the ointment into the affected area 2. Do not chew or crush the ointment as it will not work properly.
2. Swallow the Voltaren Ocagel 12 Hourly with a full glass of water for nocturnal or allergic medicines and without any pain or fever.
3. If you are using an anti-inflammatory drug for pain or fever, take it about an hour before or after the anti-inflammatory drug for pain. If it is after this time, continue taking the anti-inflammatory drug for a while to see how it works.
If you are using anti-inflammatory drugs for reducing swelling and stiffness of minor joints, it may take up to 4 weeks for you to see the full effect of the medicine. Therefore, continue using this medicine until the full effect of the medicine has been seen. It may take up to 6 weeks of treatment to reach maximum benefit from this medicine.4. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to diclofenac or aspirin.4.1. If you have had an allergic reaction to this medicine, stop using it and see your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage and instructions for use: For adults with mild to moderate pain: Adults with moderate to severe pain: Use with appropriate clothing and footwear. Use on an empty stomach for the best results.
